Umami Threads is a textile and design studio run by Claire Adams, an architecture student based out of her home workshops in Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo. This studio aims to create unique and contemporary textile goods. Each piece is carefully handmade to be a long-lasting addition to any home.
About Me.
Claire Adams is a 23-year-old architecture student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Raised in Los Angeles by artistic and inventive parents, she developed a love for the creative process. Umami Threads is the result of her life-long hobbies turned into a small business. Her other pastimes include woodworking, painting, illustration, animation, and garment making.
